PRÁCTICA 10: CONGRESO #INVTICUA22. RESUMEN DEL TFG

Hola invictuers: aquí incluyo un abstract muy resumidito de mi tfg, que trata de la brillante novela de Jasper Fforde: The Eyre Affair, obra protagonizada por una detective que es capaz de introducirse dentro de los grandes clásicos de la literatura universal para perseguir y capturar terribles villanos. En esta entrega, visitará la novela de Jane Eyre, además de algunos poemas de Wordsworth y Poe, pero en posteriores, la detective se introducirá en el Proceso Kafkiano, e incluso personajes shakespeareanos o dickensianos entre otros muchos, visitarán "nuestro" mundo. Recomendadísima

This work introduces The Eyre Affair. To such an end, the first to do was to provide readers with a brief outline of Jasper Fforde’s biography and literary style. The body of this introduction follows, it illustrates why TEA should be considered a post-modern literary work. The first clue is its self-conscious recycling of traditional narratives. Next, this work moves on to Fforde’s questioning of the traditional limits between fiction and reality. This core analysis of the bond between TEA and post-modernism concludes with a commentary on the mixture of genres typically associated to high and low culture. The introduction then proceeds to present some important tropes and traits TEA takes from detective fiction and science fiction. A comprehensive list of annotations to chapter 12 completes this paper.
